Back in February we applied for The Informal Adult Education Grant as part of Dublin City Council Community Grant Scheme 2026.
This funding will go to run a series of in-person 5 x 1.5h workshops introducing people to the world of electronics and Python (more specifically, CircuitPython)
And in June we received news that we were awarded €350 by Dublin City Council Community Grant Scheme 2026. It was partially what we asked for but it will cover the electronic components in the budget we sent in.
But this also means we will need to charge people to attend the workshops (€50 in total for all five workshops), and we cannot provide catering bar light refreshments.
The series of workshops will be held every Saturday in September and wraps up on Saturday October 3rd. You can read about the event here, the tickets are not on sale yet, but you can sign up to register your interest and we will be in touch when tickets are available.
