I’ll be running PyCon Ireland Sprints alongside out invited guest, Lynn Root who is the co-Founder of PyLadies SF (and helped launch many more).

What are sprints about? It’s a group of people coding and have a chance to contribute to an open-source project. For more information and registration, see http://python.ie/pycon/2013/sprints/ — there’s even a video explaining what sprints are about.

There’s also a workshop to ease people into sprinting on Monday morning called “Don’t be afraid to commit (or take part in sprints)" by Daniele Procida.

It’s free, beginners are very welcome.

Just bring your laptop.
